Home Range is a game about watching birds in Canberra. Venture out to six different sites around the mountain to see what birds there dwell. Then when you return home, look them up in your field file.
Making this, I was inspired by multimedia cd-roms and simulation games like Fin Fin on Teo the Magic Planet. This game is similarly intended for you to check in now and then to see what has changed.
Birds may remain around the entire year, or, they may migrate out. They will appear in different areas at different times of day to roam about, forage for food and nest. It’s worth waiting patiently in an area. If you move about too much, you are more likely to cause alarm.
