Across all its redesigns and restructures, the Ormulum has been my place to share and talk about my projects. It is less of a blog and more like a digital space, a garden you can ramble about in or a mansion you can become lost in, wandering down the wrong corridor and coming out in a dusty, forgotten room that has been unused for years.
Technical
I edit the website in markdown using vimwiki and vim-zettel
The site pages are converted into html using pandoc
The site is hosted on neocities
I’ve mucked around with different static site tools over the years. Even though they are more way more efficient and flexible, this lofi process still remains my favourite. It feels more like working with my hands somehow.
Versions
This site underwent a hefty redesign in 2025. I took the opportunity to go through and edit old pages, plus get rid of a few. The previous version of the site can be downloaded as a zip file here
